Bob Peet
Bob is a retired theatre professional who moved from Sydney to reside in Mount Barker in 2020. Instrumental in the establishment and management of six performing arts centres in regional cities across Australia.
He has designed and/or directed over 60 productions for companies across Australia.
As an acknowledgement of his contribution to community theatre, Bob was inducted into the Association of Community Theatre’s Hall of Fame.
Bob is currently learning to play the Capri Theatre Wurlitzer Organ. Bob also acts as producer of the Morning Memory series of seniors’ concerts for the Capri.
On January 26, 2026, Bob was awarded the Order of Australia Medal for Services to the Performing Arts
